The Judy 1999 Judy C is the bottom of the range Open Bath fork
, the main differance between this model and more famous Judy
XC is that this model is OEM and has steal stanctions. The Rockshox
Open Bath system uses less oil than that used in the Bomber
range , which means that is is easier to get moving, which means
that it is more responsive to small bumps, over small bumps
taking hits its a great fork , larger hits and it has a nasty
bottom out and is not really that progressive through it's travel

Swapping from a Judy C to the Z4 I must
say that I am disappointed, being air sprung and looking at the
Marrzochi web site I expected a loss of weight ... but no, having
loads more oil and bigger stanctions means that the weight is
similar to the judy, tracking is good but small bump response
is nothing like that on the coil sprung judies.

Nice, The bushings came lose (Cont to popular belief it's not
that the bushings are to short just that they are not always
put into position correctly ... neither will the 2002 bushings
retro fit) after 3 rides and had to send them back but good
old RockShox replaced the entire fork and since then I have
had no problems
Damping Control works well and the fork is well plush, one
particular root that used to through the Z4's way out is soaked
up like it isn't even there ... nice. Like the travel adjustment,
although mine are now 'stuck' in 125 mode

Got a set of these on the cheap when
my Psylos went back , for a cheap fork a real revelation, can
be tinkered to your hearts delight, good damping and small bump
response ... bit of flex in the legs though
2.4 Watts of Halogen light, takes four AA batteries and burns
them in about 3 hours, bright and reliable, nice fixing mechanism.
Look best if the body of the light hangs under the handle bars
bit work best if the body is above. The lens if focasable in
order to give you to adjust between and narrow or wide beam,
this works fairly well.

Same casing as the VL400 and the same swivel bar mount except
instead of one 2.4 watt bulb you have 2 * 10 watts which is
handy for night rides as you can carry a VL400 in you back pocket
and use it in an emergency. The 400 series has the ability to
have the focus adjusted and this works well but other 20 watt
systems have a set focus narrow beam and wide beam, because
the lens have been set up for this they are more focused the
the vista's 'bend the lens' system, having said that it is handy
and brightness is good compared with other systems. Build quality
is height with zero wobble over rough terrain. The only criticism
I really have is that the cables on the battery seem to be a
little short.
Must be one of the best rear Tyres never lets
go, excellent climbing and braking performance

One Hell of a tyre, this tyre is reversable so
that you can use it on either front or rear. Enough grip to
make you go faster and thats about it, hasn't washed out in
the corners and turns on a dime ... looks cool as well.

Having been very happy with my Fire XC Pro 2.1
and having more than enough grip I decided that the only thing
left was to reduce the rolling resistance and maybe lose some
weight, not wanting to use ANY other tyre but the Fire XC I
bought a pair of 1.8 and boy are these things quick. As the
carcase is narrower they have few knobbles in the middle reducing
rolling resistance, bit the knobbles on the edge are actually
widder and 'I' think give you more grip for cornering ... you
lose 80grams per wheel over the 2.1s (total weight 500g per
wheel)

I only bought this saddle because it was cheap and
I was in a hurry to ride, but I must say that it has been pleasantly
surprising. OK so the embossed twin flags on the cover look a
little cheesy but the saddle has taken lots of abuse and is really
very comfortable. It a little bit of a DH saddle as it has larger
sides than normal and the nose drupes and the rear rises up but
at 280 grams who can complain
Stayed fixed once applied but the soft outer layer soon started
to wear out and fray

The first thing that strike's you about this grip is just how
hard it is, this is a seriously firm grip and I would not recommend
it to anybody who does not wear gloved, that aside, once they
are on they never move ... keep there pattern and grip well
to gloves
Girl friend loves them as they have animals on them !

Once you put them on they still ... last for bloody
ages and even the bright colored versions clean up real nice ...
it's just a matter of if you like a pack of Jelly between your
hand and the bars ... these things are soft ... real soft and
squidgy, personally I really didn't like these, but they are well
made
