How To Get ThereHead south - west from Norwich in Norfolk on the A11 heading towards London, about 8 miles south of Norwich you will come to Wymondham, take the first exit sign posted to Wymondham. Turn right at the small roundabout (go straight over will but you back on the A1) and head towards Wymondham. At the next round about go straight over and you will have the Sommerfields superstore to your right. At the next set of traffic lights turn left go about 400 yards and go under the railway bridge. Straight after the railway bridge the road forks, take the left fork and head up the hill. After the new houses and before the Paul's Animal food factory is a turning to the right with iron bar across the entrance to stop taking cars over there, This is Wymondham's gravel pits. What's ThereNot a lot really, no that's not fair, there are double jumps, drop offs e.t.c, some really good stuff to practice on, the only problem is it's small, and when I say small I mean SMALL, great if you live in Wymondham ... otherwise don't bother you will be disappointed.
AccessYou can take you bike over there any time, there is a Atlas Aggregate factory over the back so don't inter fear with them. Also used by a few people on Trials Bikes but as the land is firm and it doesn't get torn up ... just stay out of their way |
