Woburn Sands

So named after the LARGE sand quarry across the road

How to get there

Come of the M5 at junction 13, once you come off the slip road you will come to a roundabout turn left then follow that road for about 3 miles (after 1 mile you will pass sign post for Woburn DO NOT TURN OFF THERE) keep going until you come to a mini round about with a white pub on your left hand side called the Fir tree turn left at the round about and head up that road, just after you leave the town you will see a grassy area on your right, this should have a foot path sign on the gate .. this where you want to park (no large luxury car parks here boys) once you are geared up ride through the gate and have a look at what's about, don't be daunted by all the lumps in the initial section, go up into the hills and explore the trails, in the three times that I have been here I have only just started to explore what is at hand.
